At Free People Sales Store, we want your shopping experience to be as carefree as our bohemian-chic collection. While we hope every piece speaks to your soul like the perfect festival outfit, we understand that sometimes returns or exchanges are needed.

Our Return Promise: We accept returns within 15 days of delivery for most items (see exceptions below). Your happiness matters as much as the hand-stitched details on our embroidered jeans.

How to Return or Exchange

Follow these simple steps to initiate your return or exchange:

  1. Prepare Your Package: Include the original tags and packaging. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition – just like when they left our boho paradise.
  2. Complete the Return Form: Use our template below or include a note with:
    • Your order number
    • Whether you want a refund or exchange
    • For exchanges: your new desired item/style/size
  3. Ship It Back: Send your return package to:

Refund Information

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Timing: Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
  • Method: Funds will be returned to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable

Note about Exchanges: If your desired exchange item is unavailable, we’ll contact you to discuss alternatives or issue a refund. The free-spirited nature of our collection means some items sell out quickly!

Non-Returnable Items

To maintain the magic of certain pieces, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Underwear & Nightwear: For hygiene reasons, these intimate items are final sale
  • Personalized/Custom Items: Anything specially made just for you
  • Final Sale Items: These will be clearly marked in our collection

International Returns

Our global free spirits (excluding certain Asian and remote regions) should note:

  • You’re responsible for return shipping costs
  • Include all customs documentation for smooth processing
  • Refunds exclude original shipping and any import duties paid
